5 Tell-Tale Signs Your Life Needs a Makeover
One day you look in the mirror at that hopeful person looking back at you and decide to give her all of the nourishment, attention and support she needs to live a truly happy and successful life.
If your life is less than you thought it would be right now, some pretty painful signs might be starting to show up. Here are my list of Oh Crap! Moments that have shown me when it was time to make a new start, and makeover my life.
You have no idea what you are aiming for.
Without a vision of your Happily Ever After, how are you going to get your intuition to navigate you there? Being clear on your ideal day, ideal life or ideal sandwich is going to fuel your intuition to kick in and make the magic happen. You will be amazed at how much easier is to have a better life when you are holding yourself up to a standard that makes you smile.
You are holding onto toxic relationships.
Been there, done that... haven’t we all, darling? If you have forgotten what it feels like to be loved, cared for and attended to, get a Golden Retriever. If you don’t want an adoring fan with a fluffy tail to remind you of what it is like to be unconditionally loved, then start making space between you and the hurtful, toxic people in your life. The takers-and-no-givers are not helping you to live a happy life, they are keeping you from it. Surround yourself instead with amazingly positive and uplifting people who want you to be happy.
You feel angry, not grateful.
Sometimes we are going through a healing process. Healing from loss, hurt and brokenness. Healing can take time. Trust in the process! Continue to nourish and take care of yourself in the healthiest ways you can think of. Go on a vacation, find an awesome therapist to talk to; give yourself time to move on from the hurt. If keeping a gratitude journal reminds you of the pain you feel and the losses you've suffered. Try appreciating just the little things each day. Appreciation can transform poverty of spirit into abundance. Pain into blessed relief.
You feel stuck and your life has stopped moving forward.
Sometimes we feel sooo stuck and burnt out that it’s scary. We want to do all kinds of things, but when we try, we just feel more overwhelmed and stressed out. Try exercising. Even when everything else feels dark and heavy, exercising every day for 30-60 minutes in whatever way feels good to you, can change your whole mind/body chemistry. Uplifting your health and your mood through exercise can lead to making room for inspiration to naturally pop-up; instead of trying really hard to get on with your life.
You haven’t defined your life purpose.
You can live an authentic and meaningful life based on what makes you feel happy and successful and fulfilled. By defining your purpose and intention in this chapter of your life, you can take back your spiritual self-authority and start actively creating your best life.
When you have defined a clear purpose in your life, you will be able to make clearer choices each day. You can take steps one at a time . Do that which feels uplifting and genuine to your spirit. As you take a step each day, your fabulous life will begin to show up. In time the steps become a whole new future, designed by your heart’s wish, rather than the outward appearance of things in your life.
